He founded Industry Reimagined 2030 from his passion to usher a new era for U.S. manufacturing as an essential sector for a vibrant society. He saw the opportunity to transform the patchwork of efforts by thousands of organizations into a unified force. Aims are a 300% increase in globally competitive companies, additional 2 million employed in middle-income careers and a 30% reduction in the environmental footprint. Bold yet not impossible.

Previously he founded several business advisory firms tackling wicked problems that could not be addressed with conventional approaches. Industries included consumer products, technology, pharmaceuticals and mining, He has educated and coached thousands of people in learning a breakthrough mindset, an approach to realising aspirational outcomes that are beyond current capabilities.

Doug’s career originated in information technology where he became a senior information officer and a senior director in industry sales and marketing with Fortune 500 companies.
